American Revolution :

The American Revolution began in the second half of eighteenth century after Britain imposed a series of taxes on its american colonies. Americans protested the move vehemently pointing out that Britain has no right to tax them as they did not have any representatives from America. Britain responded by sending heavy force to suppress the revolt and impose military rule. American colonies united against the tyranny of the Great Britain and declard independence on July 4 1776. The colonies started building ther own militia forces, who ultimately defeated the Great Britain forces under the Commandership of George Washington.
